Humor in advertising can go sideways fast if you overdo it, so for this campaign we kept things simple and let the performances carry the weight. Jack Stack has a loyal following and a clear personality, and we did not want to force anything that did not feel true to the brand. Working with Chiefs players Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith, we leaned into light humor that felt more like an inside joke than a big comedy setup.
“Clutch Carryout” played with the idea of Creed saving a game day spread like it was a fourth quarter drive. “Anytime Que” and “Right on Que” kept that same tone with both of them, little moments that make you smile because you get what they are poking at. The camera work stayed clean and intentional, with a few fun zooms and small touches that gave the spots a playful edge.
In the end the work felt warm, slightly silly, and still very Jack Stack. A little humor, a little heart, and food that does most of the talking anyway.
